What is Black Tea?

Black tea is the most popular tea in the world. It is the tea most widely used in making iced tea and English tea. During the fermented process, black tea formed more active ingredients and theaflavins. They contain high amounts of Vitamin C, along with calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, sodium, copper, manganese, and fluoride. They also have more anti-oxidants than green tea, and are anti-viral, anti-spasmodic and anti-allergic. In addition to all of these health benefits, black teas are also less astringent and have a mellower flavor than green or black teas. Perfect for drinking throughout the day, and also suitable for all ages.

What is Theaflavin?

Theaflavin (TF) and its derivatives, known collectively as theaflavins, are antioxidant polyphenols that are formed from flavan-3-ols such as in tea leaves during the enzymatic oxidation (called fermentation by the tea trade) of tea leaves, such as in black tea. Theaflavin-3-gallate, theaflavin-3'-gallate, theaflavin-3-3'-digallate, are all types of theaflavins.Theaflavins are types of thearubigins, and are therefore reddish in color. Analogous compounds include EGCG in green tea; theaflavins are not found in green tea. Despite huge implications regarding health benefits, as of 2008, little is known about the bioavailability of these compounds in black tea, therefore it is not safe to assume that simply drinking black tea will bring out health benefits listed below as there is little known how well compounds are absorbed into the bloodstream. What is known is that EGCG will metabolize into some theaflavins in the liver.
Theaflavin is a double-flavonoid from black tea. as the oxidation process leading to black tea consumes antioxidant fractions.

Where will be Black Tea Extract Theaflavin use for?
1)Anticancer activity of doxorubicin and idarubicin

2)Adjusts blood lipid extraordinarily. On one hand, it can reduce high blood lipids, blood serum cholesterol, triglyceride and content of low- density lipoprotein cholesterol. On the other hand, it can enhance high-density lipoprotein cholesterol

3)Fights against atheroma hardening

4)Anti-coagulant, improves blood consistency
