Introduct: The Australian Beverages Council Ltd (ABCL) is the peak body representing the non-alcoholic beverage industry. Our members comprise of small, medium-sized and large companies. Collectively these companies produce over 90% of the industry’s volume.  Collectively, the ABCL Members contribute more than $9 billion to the Australian economy each year and nationally they employ approximately 65,000 people. For every direct employee in the beverages manufacturing industry, there are 4.9 jobs required elsewhere in the Australian economy to produce and retail the beverages.     The ABCL strives to advance the industry as a whole, as well as successfully representing the range of beverages produced by members. The imperfection of laws hinders the development of individual companies and the market as a whole. Representing the industry, the Russian Gas Society helps the government formulate effective laws. Consolidating positions enables effective participation in the development of new laws, benefiting both the company and the market. The Russian Gas Company actively collaborates with international organizations, representing the Russian energy market globally.  The Russian Gas Society conducts expertise and provides analysis on current industry issues. Expert opinions or high-quality analysis are often required. RGS has years of experience in organizing analytical and expert work across all segments of the gas industry. The Expert Council of RGS includes recognized Russian and global experts, ensuring the highest standards of analysis quality. To become an RGS expert, one can submit their candidacy to the Expert Council. The Russian Gas Society conducts discussions and webinars on the most pressing industry issues: if a company needs to express its views and project them onto the industry opinion, the RGS provides an ideal platform for communication. Introduct: The initiative group for establishing a new public organization was headed by Sergey Viktorovich Chemezov, the General Director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Rosoboronexport." On October 30, 2006, at the meeting of the Initiative Group, he emphasized that the effective implementation of the national tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation is only possible through the coordinated and targeted efforts of all participants in the Russian machine-building complex, which includes over twenty industrial sectors. To unite efforts in developing the domestic machine-building industry, it was decided to prepare and hold the Founding Congress of the All-Russian Organization—the Russian Union of Machine Builders—in March-April 2007. On January 15, 2007, the Initiative Group meeting addressed the progress of preparations for the founding congress of the all-Russian public organization in the field of the machine-building complex. It was decided to recommend the congress to name the newly established organization as the "Union of Machine Builders of Russia." The venue and date of the congress were determined, the number of participants was set, and the initiative was taken to establish regional branches in no fewer than 45 subjects of the Russian Federation. On April 28, 2007, the Founding Congress of the All-Russian Public Organization "Union of Machine Builders of Russia" was held in the Colonnade Hall of the House of Unions in Moscow. Over 300 delegates from 60 regions of the country were invited to the Founding Congress.   Participants and guests of the founding congress received greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Federation Council Chairman Sergey Mironov, and others. First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Sergei Ivanov delivered a congratulatory speech at the founding congress. In the main report, Sergei Chemezov, the leader of the initiative group, justified the necessity of creating the "All-Russian Union of Machine Builders" and outlined the main directions of its upcoming activities. The leaders of Russia's largest industrial enterprises unanimously supported the idea of forming the Union. Sergei Chemezov, the general director of the State Corporation "Rostec" (currently serving as the general director of FGUP "Rosoboronexport"), was elected as the Union's chairman. On July 27, 2007, the All-Russian Public Organization "Union of Russian Machine Builders" was registered by the Federal Registration Service of the Russian Federation. The primary goal of the Union's activities is to develop industry strategies and participate in forming mechanisms for active state policies to support the national machine-building complex at the level of leading industrially developed countries. The Union represents the interests of approximately three million workers employed in various fields of machine building. Over 300 delegates from 60 regions of the country participated in the Founding Congress. more>
