Fresh things happen every day. To build a loving society, we all need to work together. As long as we move in the same direction, we can overcome difficulties. Today, the product we are going to introduce is the YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor. Although this electromechanical product is not widely used by customers, this model is also indispensable in the 63 series. Only with this model can the 63 frame size models be complete. This motor has parameters of 370W, 2800 rpm, and 380V. If you need non-standard sizes, you can contact us for communication. We will wholeheartedly provide you with thoughtful services.
Preparation before installation
Before unpacking the YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor, check whether the packaging is intact and whether there is any moisture. After opening the cover, carefully remove the dust and anti-rust layer on the motor, and carefully check whether there is any deformation or damage during transportation, whether the fasteners are loose or fallen off, whether the rotor rotates flexibly, whether the nameplate data meets the requirements, and measure the high-voltage resistance with a 500V megger. The insulation resistance should not be less than 1MΩ; otherwise, the winding should be dried, but the treatment temperature should not exceed 120℃.
Installation site and foundation of the motor
The altitude of the motor's installation site should not exceed 100m; the installation site of general-purpose motors should be dry and clean, with good ventilation around the motor, and a certain distance should be left from other equipment to facilitate inspection, monitoring and cleaning. The ambient temperature should be below 40℃, and strong radiation should be prevented; the installation foundation should be firm, sturdy and have a certain rigidity, and the installation surface should be flat to ensure the balanced operation of the motor.
Inspection before motor start-up
1. For newly installed YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motors or those that have been out of use for more than three months, the insulation resistance should be checked before start-up, and the measured insulation resistance value should not be less than 1MΩ.
2. Check whether the fastening screws of the motor are tightened, whether the bearing is short of oil, whether the wiring of the motor meets the requirements, and whether the casing is reliably grounded or zero-connected.
3. Check whether the screws and pins of the coupling are tightened, whether the belt connection is good, whether the tightness is appropriate, whether the unit rotor rotates flexibly, and whether there is any jamming, axial movement or abnormal noise, etc.
4. Check whether the rated current of the fuse meets the requirements and whether the installation is firm and reliable.
5. Check whether the wiring of the starting equipment is correct, whether the starting device is flexible, whether the contacts are in good contact, and whether the metal casing of the starting equipment is reliably grounded or zero-connected.
6. Check whether the three-phase power supply voltage is normal, whether the voltage is too high or too low, or whether the three-phase voltages are unbalanced, etc.
7. If there is any problem with the above items, it must be completely solved, and the start-up can only be carried out after confirming that the preparation work is correct.
Precautions during start-up
1. The YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor allows full-voltage start-up or reduced-voltage start-up (using reactance or Y-Δ start-up), but it should be noted that the full-voltage start-up is about 5-7 times the rated current, and the torque of reduced-voltage start-up is proportional to the square of the voltage. When the power grid capacity is insufficient, it is advisable to use reduced-voltage start-up; when the static load is quite large, full-voltage start-up can be used.
2. When the power supply phase sequence A, B, C corresponds to the terminal blocks U1, V1, W respectively, the direction of rotation of the motor is clockwise when viewed from the main shaft end.
3. The motor should generally have a thermal protection device, and the setting value of the protection device should be adjusted according to the rated current of the motor.
4. After closing the switch, if the motor does not rotate, the switch should be pulled quickly and decisively to avoid burning the motor.
5. After the motor starts, pay attention to observing the transmission device, production machinery, and line voltage and current. If there are abnormal phenomena, stop the machine immediately to find and eliminate the fault, and then re-close the switch to start.
6. According to the technical requirements of the motor, limit the number of consecutive starts of the motor to 3 times. Generally, the no-load consecutive start should not exceed the time when the motor runs to the hot state for a long time, and the start after shutdown should not exceed 2 times.
7. If several motors are supplied by the same transformer, they cannot start at the same time, and should be started one by one from the largest to the smallest.
Motor operation
1. During the operation of the YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor, its appearance should be kept clean, and the air inlet should not be blocked by dust and fibers.
2. The deviation between the power supply frequency and the rated frequency shall not exceed 1%; the deviation between the power supply voltage and the rated voltage shall not exceed 5%.
3. The current of the motor is not allowed to exceed 10% of the rated current.
4. The motor in continuous operation is not allowed to run overload for a long time.
5. The motor should not have intermittent or abnormal noise or vibration when running under no-load or load.
Motor storage and transportation
1. The storage of the YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor should be kept dry to prevent drastic changes in the ambient temperature.
2. The motor should not be stacked too high during storage, so as not to affect ventilation and damage the packaging of the lower motors.
3. During storage and transportation, the motor should be prevented from tilting.
Nameplate of three-phase asynchronous motor
When selecting a three-phase asynchronous motor, first you should understand the nameplate of the motor and learn relevant information. The content of the nameplate: first, determine the model of the motor; second, clarify the common parameters such as rated power, voltage, speed, and connection method; third, figure out the important parameters such as protection grade and insulation heat resistance grade, and ensure that the selected motor has obtained relevant product certifications. Correctly reading the nameplate of the motor is the starting point for correct use of the motor.
The values of electrical and mechanical quantities marked on the nameplate of the three-phase asynchronous motor are called rated values, which are formulated by the motor manufacturer in accordance with relevant national standards.
Installation environment requirements for YS6332 three-phase asynchronous motor
Temperature: -15℃ to 40℃ (cooling measures shall be taken if it exceeds 40℃);
Humidity: relative humidity ≤90% (no condensation);
Environment: no corrosive gas and dust (install a protective cover if dust prevention is required);
Vibration: foundation vibration acceleration <0.5m/s² (install vibration-damping pads if exceeding the standard).
