Asphalt-specific plug valve
I. Introduction:
The BX43W asphalt-specific plug valve (also known as plug valve) belongs to the category of valves. The jacket of this series of plug valves is welded between the two flanges of the valve, and jacket connection ports are provided on the side and bottom of the valve. Its opening and closing part rotates around its own center line. A plug valve is a valve that uses a plug with a through hole as the opening and closing part, and realizes opening and closing actions through the rotation of the plug and the valve stem. The asphalt-specific valve has a simple structure, quick opening and closing, and small fluid resistance. In recent years, as one of the earliest valves adopted by people, it has not only not been replaced by valves such as ball valves, but instead shows an increasingly popular trend in the market.
II. Product Features:
1. The window design at the inlet and outlet ends of the valve body adopts a double-groove sealing ring structure. During the rotation of the plug, the specific sealing pressure between the sealing pairs gradually changes. Until it reaches the fully open or fully closed position, sufficient specific sealing pressure is generated, achieving zero leakage of the secondary seal.
2. The double-groove sealing ring can not only keep the PTFE liner firmly in the valve body without displacement, but also absorb the slight deformation of the liner caused by temperature difference changes. At the same time, it exerts a strong wiping effect between the liner and the plug, further improving the service life of the sealing surface.
3. The entire sealing process can be approximately considered as independent of the pressure in the pipeline.
4. Different material fillers are used in the PTFE liner according to the operating temperature and working medium. It has good lubrication and a long service life.
III. Working Principle:
The BX43W asphalt-specific plug valve is a plunger-type rotary valve. The opening and closing part is a cylinder with a hole, which rotates around an axis perpendicular to the channel, playing the roles of cutting off and connecting the medium as well as diverting the medium. By rotating 90 degrees, the channel on the plug is aligned or separated from the channel on the valve body, realizing a valve that opens or closes. The asphalt-specific plug valve adopts a thermal insulation jacket design. By using an external heat source for external circulation heating of the valve, it can effectively prevent temperature loss when the medium passes through the valve, ensuring the temperature of the medium. It is mainly used in various systems such as petroleum, chemical industry, and asphalt to prevent the transportation of high-viscosity media that would solidify under normal conditions.
