1. Intoduction:
BX44W three-way insulated plug valve has double blocking and drainage functions, and is equipped with a pressure balancing device to prevent abnormal system pressure rise and reduce the resistance during the opening and closing of the valve. Since the metal surfaces contact each other after the sealing ring is compressed, the valve has a fire-resistant function. The maintenance of the valve is very convenient. The side plates can be taken out from the valve body for replacement by removing the end cover at the bottom of the valve body without disassembling the valve body from the pipeline. Therefore, it is widely used in various industries such as petroleum, natural gas, metallurgical mines, gas engineering, light industry and textiles, ship terminals, food and environmental protection water treatment to regulate and open/close pipeline fluids. When opening, rotate the handle to raise the plug, so that the plug and the valve are fully opened. When closing, first rotate the handle to turn the plug 90° to the closed position, then rotate the handwheel of the transmission device to lower the plug to achieve sealing.
2. Features:
1. The plug cone of the BX44W three-way insulated plug valve with pressure balance type is installed in an inverted manner. There is a check valve on the upper part of the plug cone.
2. When the valve is closed, due to the difference in cross-sectional area between the upper and lower parts of the plug cone, the injected high-pressure sealing oil exerts an upward lifting force on the plug body, enabling a better seal between the plug body and the sealing surface of the valve.
3. At the moment the valve is opened, the pressure in the lower cavity of the valve body balances with the medium pressure of the pipeline, and the high-pressure sealing oil in the upper cavity exerts a downward thrust on the plug body, creating a small gap between the plug cone and the sealing surface of the valve body, which effectively reduces the torque when rotating the plug body and also protects the sealing pair.
4. Under high-temperature conditions, the thermal expansion of the plug can be absorbed through its lifting and lowering, preventing the sealing pair from wedging.
3. Installation and Maintenance:
1. Reserve a position for the valve handle to rotate.
2. Do not use it for throttling.
3. Ball valves with transmission mechanisms should be installed upright.
