Ventilation Muffler

Product Introduction:

A muffler is a device that reduces noise transmission while allowing airflow to pass through. It is installed in the airflow channels or at the intake and exhaust vents of aerodynamic equipment, as well as in the intake and exhaust vents of soundproof rooms or enclosures, to lower noise levels.

Applications: Office buildings, hotels, residential areas, schools, hospitals, and other above-ground or underground structures for ventilation and HVAC system noise reduction; HVAC system duct noise reduction in municipal and rail transit industries; noise reduction for cooling towers, outdoor air conditioning units, fans, chimneys, etc., in enterprises such as power plants, power grids, petrochemicals, metallurgy, building materials, and industrial mines.

Structural Performance:

The outer shell and inner perforated plate of the muffler are made of galvanized steel sheets. Alternatively, cold-rolled steel sheets, aluminum sheets, or stainless steel sheets can be used based on customer requirements. The flange ports are made of equal-angle galvanized iron. The internal filling material consists of 24–48 kg/m³ ultra-fine centrifugal glass wool boards, covered with an alkali-free hydrophobic glass cloth. The exterior surface of the muffler can be treated with spray coating, available in various colors.

To reduce the resistance loss of the muffler, guide vanes are installed at the airflow inlet direction of the muffler panels.

Noise reduction: 10–35 dB(A).
