BYK-110 Dispersant

BYK-110 dispersant is a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks.
BYK-110 dispersant stabilizes inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, and significantly reduces the viscosity of grinding materials.

Before using BYK-110 wetting and dispersing additive, stir thoroughly. Separation or cloudiness may occur; heat to 30-40°C and stir until uniform.
Due to its high acid value, BYK-110 dispersant may catalyze cross-linking in stoving systems. The increase in viscosity during storage of the coating system should be monitored.
BYK-110 dispersant deflocculates pigments through steric hindrance. Due to the small size of the deflocculated pigment particles, high gloss, enhanced color strength, increased transparency, and improved hiding power can be achieved.
BYK-110 dispersant from Germany reduces viscosity, thereby improving flow behavior and allowing higher pigment loading. It reduces haze in electrostatic high-speed rotational coating applications with inorganic pigments.
BYK-110 dispersant is recommended for use in solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, as well as printing inks, to stabilize inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide.
Because of its anionic character, BYK-110 dispersant is ideally suited for acid-catalyzed systems (e.g., coil coatings).
