TEGO Glide 432 Leveling Agent

TEGO Glide 432 is a leveling and flow additive designed for UV-curable coating systems, offering excellent substrate wetting and smoothing effects for UV systems. It is suitable for solvent-based and radiation-curable formulations.

Technical parameters of TEGO Glide 432:
Chemical composition: Polyether siloxane
Active content: 100%
Viscosity: Approximately 150 mPa·s at 25°C
Appearance: Transparent liquid (becomes cloudy and viscous below 15°C, but returns to transparency and flowability upon heating)

TEGO Glide 432 can be used in radiation-curable formulations to improve slip, transparency in varnishes, anti-cratering, flow properties, anti-blocking/release effects, and also provides some defoaming performance. It is highly efficient with low foam stabilization. TEGO Glide 432 offers excellent substrate wetting and enhances scratch resistance.

Application examples of TEGO Additive 432 (based on the total formulation as supplied):
Printing inks: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%
Overprint varnishes: Recommended dosage 0.05-1.0%
Wood and furniture coatings: Recommended dosage 0.05-0.5%
Industrial coatings: Recommended dosage 0.05-0.3%
Inkjet inks: Recommended dosage 0.05-0.5%

Process instructions for TEGO Additive 432:
The leveling agent can be pre-diluted or added directly as supplied into the coating
Pre-dilution with recommended solvents facilitates addition and mixing
Low temperatures may cause cloudiness in TEGO Glide 432, but this can be eliminated by warming without affecting product performance.
