DISPERBYK-111 Dispersant

BYK-111 dispersant is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive used in solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks.
BYK-111 dispersant stabilizes inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, and significantly reduces the viscosity of grinding materials.

BYK-111 dispersant achieves pigment deflocculation through steric stabilization. Due to the fine particle size of deflocculated pigments, high gloss and enhanced color strength can be obtained.
BYK-111 dispersant also improves the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments.
Due to reduced viscosity, flow properties are improved, and pigment loading can be increased.
When applied using high-speed electrostatic rotary bell equipment, the haze of coatings containing inorganic pigments is significantly reduced.
