Organic Tin Drier TIN-18

Organic tin drier TIN-18 is a curing accelerator for polyurethane systems, suitable for use as a high-efficiency catalyst in areas such as polyurethane coatings, foam materials, adhesives and sealants, and elastomers.

T-18 organic tin drier is used as a heat stabilizer in organic silicone rubber mold products and PVC plastic products, such as films, semi-rigid sheets, transparent tubes, etc.

The main component of organic tin drier T-18 is dibutyltin dilaurate, appearing as a pale yellow transparent liquid with a tin content of approximately 18.0-18.8%.

Organic tin catalyst TIN-18 promotes the reaction between hydroxyl resins and polyisocyanates, shortens the curing time of PU paint, and acts as a highly efficient catalyst in terms of rapid gelation and tack-free time.

Drier TIN-18 promotes the rapid gelation of both one-component silicone sealants and two-component mold rubbers.

Compared to other organic tin compounds, drier T18 offers a longer activation period under the same curing rate conditions.
