TEGO Glide 450 Leveling Agent

Tego Glide 450 is a smoothing and flow additive that can be widely used in aqueous leveling agents, radiation-curable leveling agents, and solvent-based leveling agent formulations.

2. Significantly improves slip and transparency in varnishes;

6. Minimal impact on intercoat adhesion, providing a smooth feel for leather topcoats;

Application examples of Tego Glide 450 (based on the total formulation in supplied form):
1. Wood and furniture coatings: Recommended dosage 0.05-0.5%
2. Aqueous and solvent-based industrial coatings: Recommended dosage 0.05-0.3%
3. Automotive paints: Recommended dosage: 0.03-0.2%
4. Radiation-curable printing inks and overprint varnishes for epoxy systems (cationic curing): Recommended dosage 0.05-1.0%
5. Leather topcoats based on polyurethane, acrylic resin, and nitrocellulose systems: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%

Process instructions for Tego Glide 450:
It can be added directly to the coating in pre-diluted form or as supplied.
Pre-dilution with the recommended solvent facilitates addition and mixing.
