Drying Accelerator T-12

Drier T-12 is a curing accelerator for polyurethane systems, suitable for polyurethane coatings, adhesives, foam materials, and elastomers. It promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction or gel reaction.

Composition: Dibutyltin dilaurate

Appearance: Pale yellow transparent liquid

Non-volatile content: >96%

Tin content: 18.0-18.8%

Application characteristics of organic tin drier T-12:

It promotes the reaction between hydroxyl resins and polyisocyanates, shortening curing time;

Compared to other organic tin compounds, it offers a longer activation period under the same curing rate conditions.

Application scope of T-12 drier: Two-component polyurethane, moisture-curing polyurethane

Recommended dosage of T-12 drier: 0.01-0.03% of resin solids to promote reactivity with hydroxyl resins and polyisocyanates. Due to differences in industries, products, ambient temperatures, and other factors, preliminary testing is advised.

Store Drier T-12 in a cool, ventilated place. Keep the container sealed when not in use, away from heat and fire sources. Below 5°C, the product may crystallize or become turbid. Heat until clear, stir well before use.
