TEGO Airex 900 Defoamer

Tego 900 Defoamer is a defoaming and deaerating agent suitable for solvent-based, solvent-free, and radiation-curing coatings. Tego 900 is commonly used in epoxy floor paints and contains hydrophobic silica, making it particularly suitable for colored paint formulations. It is widely used in epoxy floor coatings, screen printing inks, radiation-curing varnishes, wood coatings, and leather coatings, especially in matte paints, colored paints, and UV screen printing inks. Tego 900 Deaerator is an excellent deaerating agent in solvent-based, solvent-free, and radiation-curing coatings.

Tego Defoamer 900 is a polysiloxane compound containing hydrophobic particles.
Tego 900 Defoamer can be used in solvent-based, solvent-free, and radiation-curing formulations, particularly suitable for colored paint formulations, offering high efficiency and being solvent-free.

Application examples of Tego 900 Additive (based on the total formulation in supplied form):
Amine/amide-cured epoxy floor coatings: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%
Solvent-based and radiation-curing screen printing inks: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%
Radiation-curing varnishes: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%
Wood and furniture coatings: Recommended dosage 0.1-0.8%
Amine/amide-cured epoxy baking paints: Recommended dosage 0.1-1.0%
Leather coatings: Recommended dosage 0.1-0.8%

Process instructions for Tego Additive 900:
When using Airex 900 Deaerator in colored paint formulations, it is recommended to add it during the grinding stage and stir before use!
It can be pre-diluted or added directly to the coating in its supplied form.
Pre-dilution with the recommended solvent facilitates addition and mixing.
Tego 900 Defoamer must be mixed under high shear conditions.
