Anti-floating and anti-flocculation dispersant BYK P-104S

BYK P-104SAnti-floating and Flooding Dispersant is a controlled flocculation wetting and dispersing additive designed for medium to high polarity solvent-based industrial coatings and architectural coatings, as well as automotive putties.
BYK-104S dispersant prevents floating/flooding caused by the combination of titanium dioxide and other pigments.
To enhance anti-floating and flooding properties, BYK-P104S contains silicone.

BYK-P104S anti-floating and flooding dispersant is suitable for medium to high polarity systems and is particularly effective in preventing floating when titanium dioxide is combined with other colored pigments. It can also be used in amine-neutralized water-based coatings. It is not soluble in mineral spirits. When used in anti-corrosion primers, it often enhances protective performance.

Anti-floating and Flooding Dispersant also contains a small amount of polysiloxane copolymer to more effectively avoid flooding. This silicone content also helps prevent Benard cell formation and silking, and it improves surface slip, leveling, and the orientation of matting agents or aluminum powders, often eliminating the need for additional silicone additives.
