Cable Tension Tester Cable tension is a critical parameter in cable structures. During construction, tension control is a vital factor affecting the internal forces and structural state of the entire system. The magnitude of cable tension during the operational phase also significantly impacts the structure's lifespan. Currently, commonly used cable tension measurement methods in China can only measure tension during the stretching phase; once stretching is completed, the tension cannot be measured. During construction, when a steel cable is initially tensioned to the design value as required, tensioning other cables will inevitably alter the tension of the initially tensioned cable, potentially causing damage to the entire structure or even catastrophic accidents. Therefore, there is an urgent need in the engineering field for a non-destructive measurement device to measure cable tension. In response to this need, we have developed a new device, the SL-Cable Tension Meter, for measuring cable tension in prestressed structures and cable-stayed bridges.

I. Main Uses and Applications

The rope tension meter is suitable for the power industry, telecommunications industry, transportation industry, glass curtain wall decoration industry, cableway operations, construction industry, amusement venues, tunnel construction, fishing, major research institutes, educational institutions, testing organizations, and any scenarios involving rope and steel cable tension measurement.

II. Main Features

7)Wide selection range for measured cables, convenient to use. The tension meter can store data for seven different diameter steel cables; simply select the corresponding cable number for measurement.

8)Application: Suitable for flexible tensile cables; high instrument accuracy: This instrument requires measurement according to the calibrated cable number specifications, with measurement accuracy within 5%.

III. Tension Measurement Operation;

1)Press "ON/OFF" to enter the tension measurement state for the previously measured cable number, allowing direct measurement of steel cables with the same number.

2)Long press "+" to enter the cable number selection program, choose the cable number to be calibrated, and press "Zero/Confirm" to confirm.

3)Insert the steel cable into the wheel groove and press "Zero/Confirm" to zero.

4)Tighten the handwheel until the steel cable reaches the limit, then the tension will be displayed.

5)Automatic shutdown after 30 minutes of inactivity.

6)After measurement, press "ON/OFF" to turn off the power.

7)This product is available in three series: 10, 20, and 30 tons.

8)Tension measurement range: 50-30000 kg.

9)Measurable rope diameter: 10mm to 34mm.

10)Display units: kg, kN; kilograms and kilonewtons can be converted interchangeably.
