Product Overview
RMD/RMI Stainless Steel Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump (referred to as magnetic pump) primarily features the use of a magnetic coupler. When the outer magnet rotates, magnetic lines of force pass through the gap and isolation sleeve to act on the inner magnet, synchronizing the pump shaft with the motor rotation and transmitting torque without contact. At the power input end of the pump shaft, since the liquid is enclosed within a stationary isolation sleeve without dynamic seals, it completely eliminates the unavoidable leakage, dripping, and spillage phenomena in the petrochemical industry, ensuring zero leakage. This type of pump is suitable for conveying toxic, harmful, flammable, explosive, and precious liquid media, making it an ideal choice for creating leak-free and pollution-free workshops and factories.

Operating Environment
The RMD/RMI series magnetic pumps primarily use austenitic stainless steel for their wetted parts, but can also be lined with non-metallic materials or thermosetting plastics. These pumps, collectively referred to as metal magnetic pumps, are suitable for conveying liquids without ferromagnetic particles or fibers, with a maximum pressure of 1.6 MPa, temperature not exceeding 120°C, and viscosity not greater than 30×10⁻⁶ m²/s. For systems with medium pressure exceeding 1.6 MPa, temperature above 120°C, or requiring insulation measures, custom design and manufacturing are available.

Protection Devices:
1. Load Controller: Monitors the motor's power consumption and can preset a safe operating range. In cases of low load due to cavitation, flow interruption, or magnetic drive slippage, or overload due to mechanical contact of rotating parts, it automatically cuts off power to stop the pump, preventing further damage.
2. Temperature Sensor: Indirectly monitors the temperature of the internal circulation system by detecting the temperature of the isolation sleeve. If the temperature exceeds the set range, it can trigger an alarm or send an electrical signal to cut off power, protecting the equipment.
3. Dual Isolation Sleeve Design: Allows monitoring of leakage between inner and outer isolation sleeves via leakage detection instruments, ensuring reliable operation of the magnetic pump in more demanding conditions.
