Wuhan DICO Chemical Co., Ltd. (DICO), referred to as Wuhan DICO, was established in 2003. Over more than a decade, it has transformed from a pure trading company into an integrated enterprise combining science, industry, and trade, equipped with multiple production facilities. Currently, it operates three production plants: Hubei Weikong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hubei Weikong), which produces biocides and leather auxiliaries; Wuhan Tongji Medison Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Tongji Medison), which produces disinfectants; and Hunan Hongrun Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hunan Hongrun), which produces benzoic acid.

　　The production bases of Hubei Weikong and Tongji Medison are located in the Hubei Huanggang Chemical Park, a state-approved chemical industrial zone. In 2012, Hubei Weikong successfully commenced formal production of glutaraldehyde, with an annual production capacity of up to 10,000 tons. The facility was independently developed by the company, making it the world's third continuous production line following those of Dow Chemical in the United States and BASF in Germany. The product's various indicators meet the production standards of the United States. In March 2015, this facility of Hubei Weikong obtained a national invention patent, with patent number: ZL 2012 1 0552531.2. In 2015, Hubei Weikong also passed the ISO 9001 quality management system certification, marking a new level in its quality management. Given the varying quality of glutaraldehyde products in the domestic market, to ensure customers purchase satisfactory products, Hubei Weikong's technical staff developed a qualitative detection method for formaldehyde in glutaraldehyde in 2014. In 2015, they further developed a quantitative analysis and detection method for heterocyclic aldehydes in glutaraldehyde (including quantitative detection of formaldehyde). Tongji Medison is affiliated with the School of Medicine and Health Management of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It was acquired by Wuhan DICO in 2011 and primarily engages in the research, development, production, and technical consulting services of health and disinfection products. Hunan Hongrun is located in the Hunan Changlian Chemical Park, with an annual production capacity of up to 60,000 tons for benzoic acid, 3,000 tons for benzyl benzoate, and 3,000 tons for benzaldehyde.
