Compound Carbon Source

With the reduction of water resources and the increasing demand for large volumes of water across various industries, many people are placing great importance on water treatment, hoping to use specialized treatment agents to treat wastewater. Composite carbon source is a relatively suitable water treatment product. It is a novel carbon source product made from multiple organic materials through fermentation and specialized enzymatic hydrolysis technology. Composite carbon source features low dosage, easy absorption and utilization by microorganisms, reduced organic sludge production, and enhanced sludge activity. It serves as a carbon source product for initiating and commissioning biochemical wastewater treatment systems or shortening recovery time, and is also a carbon source option for traditional denitrification and chlorate removal processes. Composite carbon source is liquid, non-corrosive, does not crystallize even around zero degrees Celsius, and is convenient for transportation, storage, and use. It can accelerate system recovery as a carbon source product and, when combined with denitrifying bacteria, achieve rapid denitrification.

I. Used as a water stabilizer:

1. As a corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating cooling water, it is unparalleled by other inhibitors currently in use and can achieve pollution-free effects.

2. In wastewater treatment, composite carbon source serves as a nutrient source for sludge and acts faster than urea.

3. Unlike general corrosion inhibitors, its corrosion inhibition rate increases with rising temperature.

4. It exhibits significant synergistic effects and is compatible with various formulations such as molybdenum, silicon, phosphorus, tungsten, and nitrite. Due to these synergistic effects, corrosion inhibition is greatly enhanced.

5. Its scale inhibition capability requires strong complexation ability for calcium, magnesium, and iron salts, particularly exhibiting good chelation for Fe³⁺.
