Product Introduction:

EC SeriesLaboratory Simple Emulsifying Stirring and Dispersing Machine is used in applications where traditional stirring cannot meet requirements, such as the production of emulsions and suspensions. Effects that traditional stirring cannot achieve even after several hours can be accomplished by batch dispersers in just a few minutes. Its effectiveness is based on the rotor-stator principle. The circumferential speed of the rotor provides the necessary shear force to reduce droplets and solid particles.

High-shear dispersing emulsification is a process that efficiently, rapidly, and uniformly introduces one or more phases (liquid, solid, gas) into another immiscible continuous phase (usually liquid). Under normal circumstances, each phase is immiscible. When external energy is input, the two materials recombine into a homogeneous phase. The high tangential speed generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor and the strong kinetic energy brought by high-frequency mechanical effects cause the materials to undergo comprehensive effects such as strong mechanical and hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tearing, and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and rotor, forming suspensions (solid/liquid), emulsions (liquid/liquid), and foams (gas/liquid). Thus, under the combined action of corresponding mature processes and appropriate additives, immiscible solid, liquid, and gas phases are instantly and uniformly finely dispersed and emulsified. After high-frequency circulation, stable high-quality products are finally obtained.

There are multiple sealing methods, suitable for installation at different positions of containers, and capable of operating under conditions of 16 bar and 160°C.

The EC series offers two flange installation types: KT (atmospheric pressure type) and KD (pressure-resistant type). It is suitable for atmospheric pressure, closed, vacuum, and pressure working conditions.

Recommended Feeding Order

When using a high-shear mixing emulsifier, the recommended material supply steps are as follows:

1. Add all components with the minimum viscosity to the container and start mixing.

2. Add the remaining liquid or soluble components.

3. Add solids that require intense mechanical stirring or solids that need a certain period of chemical reaction.
