I. Introduction:
Q11F-10S plastic threaded ball valves and butt-welded ball valves are divided into three types: one-piece (integral), two-piece, and three-piece. The valve body of the internal threaded ball valve is cast using Taiwan technology, featuring a reasonable structure and beautiful appearance. The seat of the internal threaded ball valve adopts an elastic sealing structure, ensuring good sealing performance and easy opening and closing. The valve stem adopts a bottom-loaded structure with a reverse seal, so the valve stem will not be ejected even if there is abnormal pressure rise in the valve cavity. The connection forms of two-piece and three-piece ball valves also include butt welding (BW) and socket welding (SW), and all can be equipped with standard bracket platforms and locking devices. The internal threaded ball valve can be equipped with a 90° on-off positioning mechanism, and a lock can be added as needed to prevent misoperation. The driving methods are manual, electric, and pneumatic. Installation and use of ball valves: When connecting the flanges at both ends to the pipeline, tighten the bolts evenly to prevent flange deformation and leakage. Rotating the handle clockwise is for closing, and counterclockwise is for opening. Ball valves are only suitable for on-off and flow-through purposes, and are not suitable for flow regulation. Liquids containing hard particles can easily scratch the ball surface. Ball valves have excellent strength and toughness, as well as outstanding chemical corrosion resistance.
II. Features:
1. Small fluid resistance: Full-bore ball valves have almost no flow resistance.
2. Simple structure, small size, and light weight.
3. Tight and reliable sealing: It has two sealing surfaces, and currently, various types of plastics are widely used as sealing surface materials for ball valves, ensuring good sealing performance and achieving complete sealing. It is also widely used in vacuum systems.
4. Convenient operation and quick opening/closing: Only a 90° rotation is required from fully open to fully closed, facilitating remote control.
5. Easy maintenance: The ball valve has a simple structure, and the sealing rings are generally movable, making disassembly and replacement relatively convenient.
6. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and seat are isolated from the medium, so the medium passing through will not cause erosion to the valve sealing surfaces.
7. Wide application range: The nominal diameter ranges from a few millimeters to several meters, and it can be applied from high vacuum to high pressure.
8. Since ball valves have a wiping effect during the opening and closing process, they can be used for media containing suspended solid particles.
III. Applications:
Internal threaded ball valves and welded ball valves are suitable for various pipelines with PN1.0～4.0MPa, operating temperature of -29～180℃ (sealing ring is reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene) or -29～300℃ (sealing ring is polyphenylene sulfide), used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. By selecting different materials, they can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, etc.
