I. Introduction:
The VQ71F manual V-type ball valve is an advanced control valve with a right-angle rotary structure. When used in conjunction with a valve positioner, it enables proportional regulation; when paired with a 5/2-way solenoid valve and a control box, it achieves on-off control. The V-type ball valve core is designed with a specially shaped V-shaped notch, offering precise shut-off characteristics and control functions, making it suitable for various control scenarios. It features a compact structure, small size, and the advantage of being able to be installed in a horizontal position. It is applicable for controlling gas, liquid, and solid particulate media. Due to the gap-free rotation between the valve core and the valve seat, it has strong shear force and self-cleaning performance, making it especially suitable for controlling suspensions containing fibrous materials or fine solid particles, as well as solid particulate media. Therefore, this product is widely used in automatic control systems of industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical industry, paper making, chemical fiber, electric power, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, and environmental protection.

II. Product Features:
(1) Integral valve body without any pipe joints, so it is not affected by pipeline or bolt stress. Moreover, since the valve body has no pipe joints, the pressure-containing shell will not be affected by "sudden pressure changes";
(2) Equipped with a V-type valve body, it can ensure control accuracy across the entire flow range even under conditions of small flow or high-viscosity media;
(3) The leak-proof and durable valve seat is lined with a stainless steel-core PTFE cup-shaped or O-shaped sealing ring at its outer diameter. The valve seat is made of tungsten-cobalt hard alloy with a large cross-section, and its structure is further reinforced by an alloy wave spring;
(4) When the valve is closed, a wedge-shaped shear action occurs between the V-shaped notch and the valve seat, which not only has self-cleaning function but also prevents the ball core from seizing. It is especially suitable for occasions with unclean media containing fibers, such as high-viscosity fluids, suspensions, and pulp.

III. Installation and Operation Instructions:
1. The pipelines before and after the ball valve are ready. The front and rear pipelines should be coaxial, and the sealing surfaces of the two flanges should be parallel. The pipelines should be able to bear the weight of the ball valve; otherwise, appropriate supports must be installed on the pipelines.
2. Purge the pipelines before and after the valve to remove oil stains, welding slag, and all other impurities inside the pipelines.
3. Check the markings of the ball valve to confirm that it is intact. Operate the valve to fully open and close it several times to verify its normal operation.
4. Remove the protective components from the connecting flanges at both ends of the ball valve.
5. Inspect the valve bore to remove any possible dirt, then clean the valve bore. Even a tiny foreign particle between the valve seat and the ball may damage the sealing surface of the valve seat.
6. Install the valve onto the pipeline. Either end of the valve can be installed at the upstream end. Valves driven by handles can be installed at any position on the pipeline. However, ball valves with gearboxes or pneumatic actuators should be installed upright, i.e., on horizontal pipelines, with the driving device located above the pipeline.
7. Install the sealing gasket between the valve flange and the pipeline flange in accordance with the pipeline design requirements.
8. Tighten the bolts on the flanges symmetrically, sequentially, and evenly.
9. Connect the pneumatic pipeline (when using a pneumatic actuator).
10. Operate the actuator to open and close the ball valve several times; it should move flexibly without sticking, confirming its normal operation.
11. Conduct a sealing performance check on the flange joint surfaces between the pipeline and the ball valve in accordance with the pipeline design requirements.
