A detailed introduction to the gasification plate and gasification chute pneumatic conveying system
Aerating panels and aerating troughs are key components in pneumatic conveying systems used to fluidize powdered materials. Below is a detailed introduction to them: Aerating Panels • Structural Composition: Consists of an aerating panel sintered from silicon carbide particles, a box shell, connecting flanges, rubber sealing rings, etc. Among them, the aerating panel is the core component, with good air permeability and wear resistance, and the shell is made of steel structure. • Working Principle: During discharge, connect the heated compressed air, which is introduced through the bottom nozzle of the aerating panel device, and evenly enters the material layer through the aerating panel, making the materials in the silo hopper loose and fully fluidized, thereby increasing the fluidity of the materials, avoiding "arching" and "bridging" of materials in the silo hopper, and ensuring smooth discharge. • Technical Parameters: Taking the common silicon carbide aerating panel as an example, its porosity is 37.9%, density is 2.22g/cm³, compressive strength is 67.7MPa, flexural strength is 27.3MPa, material is SiC, air permeability is 0.8m³/m²・min, and temperature resistance is above 400℃. • Installation Location: Mainly used at the bottom of conical-bottom ash silos and ash hoppers. Generally, 2 panels are arranged near the discharge port, and 4 panels are arranged at the conical bottom.

Aerating Troughs • Structural Features: Mainly formed by molding with silicon carbide aerating panels and metal boxes, with an aerating cavity formed inside. The gaps between aerating panels are sealed with high-temperature-resistant silicone rubber. The trough body is formed in one piece using molding process, ensuring airtightness at the box body and connections, and the bottom plate and flange connection surfaces are smooth and flat. • Working Principle: Similar to aerating panels, compressed air is introduced through the bottom or side nozzle of the device, and evenly enters the material layer through the aerating panel, making the materials in the silo hopper loose and fully fluidized, preventing unsmooth discharge or blockage of materials, and ensuring continuous, stable and safe operation of production. • Installation and Layout: Used at the bottom of flat-bottom ash silos, evenly arranged at the bottom. The inclination angle from the edge of the ash silo to the discharge port is not less than 6°, and the layout area is not less than 15% of the bottom area of the ash silo. When there are 2 ash discharge holes at the silo bottom with a spacing of ≥1.8m, two inclined troughs with opposite slopes should be arranged between the two holes to supply materials to the two ash discharge holes. • Relationship with Aerating Panels: Aerating troughs can be regarded as an aerating device composed of multiple aerating panels. Aerating panels are important components of aerating troughs. Both function to fluidize powdered materials, but differ in structural forms and application scenarios.
