1. Overview of FPZ Plastic Self-priming Pump
The FPZ engineering plastic self-priming pump body is injection-molded at one time with reinforced polypropylene (CFR-PP), featuring high mechanical strength and strong corrosion resistance. The pump cavity is equipped with a liquid suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, liquid return check valve, gas-liquid separation chamber and return flow hole. Only need to pour priming liquid before the first start-up, and no repeated priming is required afterwards. When conveying media, the liquid can be intermittent. If the liquid is cut off within 15 minutes, the liquid can be sucked and conveyed continuously after the liquid comes again. The inner cavity of the pump is smooth, and the impeller is closed type, which adopts two sealing methods: mechanical seal and rubber seal. The mechanical seal does not need additional cooling water. It has the advantages of small volume, light weight, simple structure, easy operation, safety and no leakage. It is mainly used to transport corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis and salts with a temperature range of -14℃~80℃, but it shall not be used to transport chemicals that have a significant effect on ABS engineering plastics, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, halogen derivatives of aliphatic hydrocarbons, ketones and concentrated acids and alkalis.

1. Before installation and use (due to long-distance transportation), carefully check whether all fasteners are loose. If loose, tighten them again. Check the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft, and correct it if there is deviation.
2. The installed pipeline shall not be directly supported on the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump, and additional supporting points must be provided to prevent deformation and damage. The pipeline should be changed as few as possible to reduce hydraulic losses. No more than two 90° elbows are allowed. The suction pipe shall not leak air, otherwise it will affect the vacuuming and liquid discharging time, or cause no liquid discharging and insufficient flow and head.
3. Before starting the pump, open the liquid injection cap, fill the pump body with priming liquid, tighten the liquid injection cap to avoid air leakage. It is strictly forbidden to run the pump without liquid and reverse rotation.
4. For pumps with a bracket bearing box, add cooling engine oil to half of the sight glass before use, otherwise the bearing will be burnt out, and the engine oil should be replaced regularly.
5. The conveyed liquid shall not contain sediment or long soft fibers, so as to prevent the impeller and mechanical seal from being blocked and damaged.
6. Install a valve at the outlet of the pump. Close the valve first before shutting down, and open the valve first before starting the pump.
