High temperature and high pressure safety valve
I. Introduction:
High-temperature and high-pressure safety valves are safety protection valves. Their closing elements are normally closed under external force. When the medium pressure in equipment or pipelines rises and exceeds the specified value, they automatically open to discharge the medium out of the system, preventing the medium pressure in pipelines or equipment from exceeding the specified value. High-temperature and high-pressure safety valves belong to the category of automatic valves, mainly used in boilers, pressure vessels and pipelines to control pressure not exceeding the specified value, playing an important role in protecting personal safety and equipment operation. Their function is that when the pressure inside the vessel exceeds a certain value, the high-temperature safety valve automatically opens the valve relying on the pressure of the medium itself, and then quickly discharges a certain amount of medium. When the pressure inside the vessel drops to the allowable value, the high-temperature safety valve closes automatically, keeping the pressure inside the vessel always below the upper limit of the allowable pressure and automatically preventing accidents that may occur due to overpressure. Therefore, high-temperature and high-pressure safety valves are also known as the final protection devices for pressure vessels.

IV. Product Maintenance:
(1) Valve cleaning: For cleaning general media, it is sufficient to wash with water. However, for cleaning media harmful to health, first understand their properties, then select the appropriate cleaning method.
(2) Valve disassembly: First remove rust from parts with rust on their exposed surfaces. Before rust removal, protect the machined surfaces of precision parts such as the valve seat, valve core, valve stem and push rod. Special tools shall be used for disassembling and assembling the valve seat.
(3) Valve seat: If there are small rust spots and wear on the sealing surface, it can be repaired by mechanical processing. If damaged severely, it must be replaced. Regardless of whether the hard sealing surface is repaired or replaced, it must be ground.
(4) Valve stem: If the surface is damaged, it can only be replaced.
(5) Damage to push rod, guide and sealing surfaces: For reverse-acting actuators, they must be replaced. For direct-acting actuators, they can be used after appropriate repair.
(6) Compression spring: If there are defects such as cracks that affect strength, it must be replaced.
(7) Wearable parts: Packing, sealing gaskets and O-rings shall all be replaced during each maintenance. For the valve core and diaphragm, check whether there are cracks, aging or corrosion traces that may occur in the future, and decide whether to replace them based on the inspection results. The service life of the diaphragm is generally 2 to 3 years.
(8) During valve assembly, pay attention to alignment. Tighten the bolts diagonally, and add lubricant to sliding parts. After assembly, adjust according to the product's factory test items and methods. During this period, the packing compression force and the closing position of the valve core can be accurately adjusted.
