I. Product Introduction:
Among straight-through or Y-type stop valves, the flow channel of the J45H straight-through stop valve forms an oblique angle with the main flow channel. This results in less disruption to the flow state compared to conventional stop valves, so the pressure loss through the valve is correspondingly smaller. Straight-through stop valves are particularly suitable for pipelines in the chemical and fertilizer industries; when steam is introduced, it can prevent medium crystallization. They are widely used in various systems such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and pharmaceutical industries to transport high-viscosity media that solidify at room temperature. II. Product Principle:
Stop valves belong to force-sealed valves. Therefore, when closing the valve, pressure must be applied to the disc to force the sealing surface to prevent leakage. When the medium enters the valve below the disc, the operating force must overcome the friction between the stem and the packing, as well as the thrust generated by the medium pressure. The force required to close the valve is greater than that required to open it, so the stem diameter must be larger; otherwise, the stem may bend and malfunction. In recent years, since the advent of self-sealing valves, the medium flow direction of stop valves has changed to enter the valve cavity above the disc. At this time, under the action of medium pressure, the force required to close the valve is smaller, while the force required to open it is larger, so the stem diameter can be reduced accordingly. Additionally, under the action of the medium, this type of valve is also more tightly sealed. China's "Three Standardizations for Valves" once stipulated that the flow direction of stop valves must always be from top to bottom.
III. Product Features:
1. During the opening and closing process, the friction on the sealing surface is lower than that of gate valves, making it wear-resistant.

VI. Operation and Maintenance:
The purpose of operation and maintenance is to extend the valve's service life and ensure reliable opening and closing. The stem thread frequently rubs against the stem nut, so a small amount of high-temperature grease, molybdenum disulfide, or graphite powder should be applied to lubricate it. For valves that are not opened or closed frequently, the handwheel should still be rotated regularly, and lubricant should be added to the stem thread to prevent seizing. For outdoor valves, a protective cover should be installed on the stem to prevent rust and contamination from rain, snow, and dust. If the valve is mechanically operated, lubricant should be added to the gearbox on schedule. The valve should always be kept clean. Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure the integrity of valve components. If the fixing nut of the handwheel falls off, it must be replaced with a new one; makeshift use is not allowed, otherwise, the square part at the top of the stem will be worn round, gradually losing its fitting reliability and eventually making the valve inoperable. Do not use the valve to support other heavy objects, and do not stand on the valve. The stem, especially the threaded part, should be wiped regularly, and lubricant contaminated by dust should be replaced with new lubricant, as dust contains hard debris that can easily wear the threads and stem surface, affecting the service life.
