Centralized cutting fluid supply systems are widely used in machine tool factories or large-scale machine tool production workshops. With numerous fluid supply points and large fluid supply volumes per unit time, the complexity of management and manual labor increases. Meanwhile, with many machine tools, it is inconvenient to replace waste fluid, but the centralized supply system allows factories to better manage and maintain cutting fluid. The cutting fluid is concentrated in a large storage tank, where the bacteria count, concentration, pH value and other indicators of the working fluid are monitored online. The concentration is adjusted regularly and stably based on inspection results, which facilitates controlling and ensuring the quality of the working fluid and professionalizes the management and maintenance of the fluid supply system.

Centralized cutting fluid filtration is a processing auxiliary fluid suitable for cooling and lubricating tools and workpieces during metal cutting, milling and grinding processes. It has excellent cooling, lubrication, anti-rust, degreasing, cleaning and anti-corrosion functions. Cutting fluids are divided into oil-based cutting fluids and water-based cutting fluids. According to surveys, the demand for oil-based cutting fluids is relatively low at this stage, and water-based cutting fluids are the main application type. During the entire service life of water-based cutting fluids, the lubricating oil on workpieces and a large amount of machine tool guide rail oil mix with the cutting fluid. In this way, the cutting fluid mixed with various impurities and residues flows back into the cutting fluid tank through cyclic application. Long-term cyclic use and long-term idle storage of the cutting fluid cause a large amount of mixed oil to float on the surface of the cutting fluid, which prevents the cutting fluid from contacting the air and leads to the growth of a large number of bacteria in the cutting fluid. This not only greatly increases tool wear, but also reduces the surface accuracy of workpieces, disrupts the working environment that is harmful to workers' physical and mental health, and causes environmental pollution problems such as air pollution, water resource pollution and land pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to purify and treat the cutting waste fluid to extend the service life of the cutting fluid.

The cutting fluid for each grinder in the grinding workshop of the electrode workshop usually adopts a single-cycle system. After the cutting fluid has been used for a period of time, it contains abrasive grains from the grinding wheel and metallic tungsten particles. When polishing the surface of workpieces, these particles will cause defects and interfere with surface quality. At the same time, the cutting fluid must be removed and replaced in a timely manner. Rough grinding requires replacement every 5 days, and fine grinding requires replacement every 3 days. This leads to high production costs and environmental pollution, so large and medium-sized processing plants strongly recommend adopting the centralized filtration method. Centralized filtration systems are the development trend of modern wet processing filtration.

Compared with single-machine circulation systems, the advantages of centralized filtration are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

2. It is very easy to realize automatic control. It occupies a small area, and the area occupied by large and medium-sized centralized filtration systems is far smaller than that of single-machine filtration.

The number of fluid replenishment points is reduced, the number of cutting fluid management personnel can be decreased, waste cutting fluid can be treated in a centralized manner to reduce environmental pollution; the discharged iron filings are concentrated, which is conducive to transportation and treatment; intensive testing can be carried out for the application of cutting fluid
